Getting to Amalfi
It will be necessary to reserve your transportation well in an advance of the trips you’ll be needing. Taxis to and within Amalfi are not reliable, so you’ll want to have these booked ahead of time. We recommend reaching out to Mena at Amalfi Coast Transfers to set up your transportation needs.

A more cost-efficient option would be to take a train from Naples to Sorrento, then take a bus or water shuttle to Amalfi. Tickets for a bus or water shuttle can be bought on the spot or online. Regardless of when or where you purchase your tickets, check online for the 2025 Amalfi Coast bus and water shuttle schedules prior to traveling. You’ll then need to arrange a pickup from the Ferry to your villa in advance and have a plan B prepared just in case the ferry isn’t running that day.

Flying to Naples
The closest major airport to the Amalfi Coast is the Naples International Airport (NAP). Although this is the most convenient,
it might not be the most cost-efficient.
Entering Italy via Rome or Milan is a great alternative if you're willing to make one or more stops. There are several low-cost European airlines that could get you from major European cities into Naples.
Or, consider utilizing the fantastic trains!

Travel
Before you do anything, CHECK YOUR PASSPORT!
Make sure your passport is valid and will still remain valid for at least 6 months after your trip begins. If you try to go through TSA and your passport expires within six months of your trip, you will not be allowed to travel.

Other Helpful Travel Tips
+Download Whatsapp so that your villa and drivers can easily communicate with you
+Bring extra euros with you to pay drivers in cash
+Have your transportation figured out before you arrive so that you aren’t stressed about how to get to the next location and you can fully enjoy the moment and the views!
+Don’t forget to bring your power converters and adapters!
Check your hair tools to make sure they have universal voltage otherwise they will not work even with a converter/adapter.
Shuttles
Monday, July 14
We will be providing transportation from Villa Alba, Casamia Amalfi, and Villa Vettica to Trattoria da Lorenzo at 5:30pm. Please arrive no later than 5:15pm if you are catching the Villa Vettica shuttle. The shuttle back to Amalfi will leave from da Lorenzo around 9:30pm. We’ll drop off in downtown Amalfi for those who want to partake in the Hen/Stag Party and then continue to drop off at Villa Alba, Casamia Amalfi, and Villa Vettica.

Tuesday, July 15
We will be providing shuttles from Villa Vettica back to your villas
after the wedding festivities beginning at 10:30pm.
The final shuttle will leave Villa Vettica at 12:15am.

Additional Transportation
It has been recommended that private transfers/taxis/shuttles be utilized rather than walking. Most of the roads to the villas outside of downtown Amalfi are winding and do not have proper sidewalks.
